A new guide to Arkansas attractions is making its way online.
Arkansas Attraction is an interactive app that tracks and catalogs every attraction in the state.
You can view the full guide here.
This interactive app gives visitors a complete picture of the state, allowing you to find out how much money is spent on everything from food and drink to lodging.
“It’s very important to know where you are in the Arkansas landscape,” said Chris O’Connell, a staff member with the Arkansas Tourism Department.
“What we’re looking for is an understanding of the different places in the parks and what we’re doing here, which is why this app was created,” he added.
“Our goal is to give visitors an in-depth view of what’s going on in the park and the attractions within,” he said.
“We’ve been tracking the state’s attractions since 2005,” he continued.
“The more information you have about the parks, the more it will give you an understanding about what’s happening,” O’Donnell said.
According to a recent analysis by TripAdvisor, the average annual visitation to attractions in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Grand Teton National Park and the Arkansas River Valley is about 10,000 people.
The park’s parks and recreation area covers about 9.6 million acres.
TripAdvisor’s report found that the parks are the most visited destinations in the U.S. with about 2.4 million visitors annually.
In 2018, the state saw an average of 7.7 million visitors, with a total of 1.6 billion dollars spent in the four parks.
According, a 2017 report by the National Association of Realtors, the nation’s fourth-largest professional real estate brokerage, found that a recent surge in home sales in the states home to the parks could be due to a lack of competition.
While the parks attract visitors from across the country, they also attract visitors who come to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, the outdoors, or a combination of the two, O’Donovan said.
